Implementation Lead

Wellington - Permanent, Full Time

 

Now is an exciting time at the Ministry of Education. We are working differently with the profession and communities to help our education system deliver the best outcomes for our kids.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced professional to join our national Strategy and Implementation team, within our Sector Enablement and Support group.  This group provides implementation and practice design and planning expertise to support our 10 regional offices to implement the Ministry's key priority initiatives.  This position is based in Wellington.

 

About the role:

The Implementation Lead has responsibility for leading the successful transition and implementation of new initiatives and significant change in service design and delivery into front line services.

 

Working with others, the Implementation Lead will:

  • Lead and contribute to nationally designed implementation and change approaches and planning
  • Provide implementation, change and practice expertise to national and regional teams
  • Identify and resolve implementation, change and practice issues
  • Contribute to service design
  • Contribute to capability building

 

You will need to be great at:

  • Building successful relationships with your colleagues and sector leaders
  • Working with others to facilitate and implement change initiatives that are responsive to specific regional contexts
  • Inquiry and continuous improvement methods to ensure effective monitoring and reporting of implementation initiatives
  • Working as part of a team and contributing, through your specific skills and capabilities to focus action on achieving outcomes
