The Ministry of Education's purpose is to be the lead advisor on the education system, shaping direction for educational agencies and providers and contributing to the Government's goal for education.

As part of this vision, the Ministry is currently going through an exciting change journey in order to meet, improve and influence how the system will be shaped for the betterment for every New Zealander.

The Data and Information Stewardship (DIS) group is looking to secure passionate data experts who want to be part of their data journey.  Their vision is to enable the organisation to be better at the collection, evaluation and dissemination of data in order to provide an exceptional customer experience for all New Zealand educational users.

The Data Analyst must problem-solve data integrity issues, communicate well with stakeholders and deliver high quality data to deadlines.
