The Education Workforce is part of the Early Learning and Student Achievement Group, and supports the building of a workforce with the capability and capacity to lift student achievement. The group is comprised of teams for workforce strategy and planning, scholarships and awards including the Prime Minister's Awards, and employment relations.
About the role
The Administrator is responsible for supporting a work programme that is focused on lifting the diversity and calibre of the teaching workforce, using workforce data to tailor existing incentives or to establish and shape the direction of new projects and initiatives.
About the person
You are organised and flexible and able to juggle a number of tasks at the same time. You can plan and sequence work, managing priorities and risks. You have a strong customer service focus and the ability to develop and manage trusted relationships with a broad range of people, including Māori and Pacific Peoples. The ideal person has outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, and is able to effectively and efficiently cope with large amounts of transactional processing.
The environment is fast paced and you must be agile and responsive while also delivering quality work.
