The Ministry of Education works to shape an education system that delivers equitable and excellent outcomes.
We are currently seeking an experienced, efficient and agile Private Secretary for the Office of the Associate Minister of Education, Hon Jenny Salesa.
You will be the sole Ministry of Education Private Secretary in Minister Salesa's office, and will therefore need the confidence and experience to manage the workload, ensuring the Minister is provided with the support she needs across her areas of responsibility in the education portfolio.

You will have a background in Pacific education policy or service delivery, and have a good understanding of the priorities in the Pacific education portfolio. You will have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, as well as good judgement and decision making skills. You will be a strategic thinker, with an ability to see linkages between different streams of work across the education portfolio. You will also be well versed in building, maintaining and leveraging relationships.
