Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. EIS manages the Crown's second largest property portfolio of around 2,500 schools with a book value of $17.8 billion, is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
About this role
You will provide support to the Group Manager by effectively managing their schedule and performing a wide variety of administrative, planning, and organising duties which includes the coordination of team/group wide activities. These responsibilities require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact and independent judgment.

Ideally you will have proven administration/PA experience ideally within the public sector, some knowledge/experience in working in a finance team would also be of benefit. You will be a positive person, keen to contribute to team meetings and celebrations.
You will also offer:
- Experience in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders
- Proactivity and the ability to apply good judgement
- Demonstrated ability to learn and operate a wide range of administrative and financial systems
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Creativity/ideas to assist in maintaining a positive team culture
